Author Information

Hari Ram Prajapati attained an MA in economics from the University of Allahabad and a doctorate in economics from the Central University of Gujarat. He qualified NET and received junior and senior research fellowship in economics for doctoral research by the UGC. His area of specialization in research is applied microeconomics with special reference to environmental economics, specifically the application of econometrics in consumer and producer behaviour analysis in adoption of organic farming, change in behaviour of sustainable consumption and production. Dr Prajapati is working as an assistant professor in Economics Section, Mahila Mahavidylaya, Bananas Hindu University, Varanasi, UP. He is previously worked at the Department of Economics, Kamala Nehru College, University of Delhi (2016–2019). At present he is mainly engaged in teaching BA (Hons) Economics students. He is life member of the Indian Econometric Society and Indian Association for Research in National Income & Wealth, working for academic research in the area of applied econometrics and measurement of national income and wealth.
