OverviewWhen Feynman was asked how he thought he should approach teaching in the classroom, his response was, “I don’t know, really!” What he meant was there is no standard protocol that one can build to manage and disseminate the principles of learning. Ordinary Differential Equations: A Structured Approach provides an interactive, step-by-step guide to the complex world of differential equations. This text doesn’t simply focus on finding a particular solution. Instead, it places emphasis on helping students analyze and understand the importance of the solution’s context. Each solution method presented in this book is structured and distinct, which makes the classification of the equation just as important as the solution. A variety of examples are utilized to create an engaging and interesting reading experience, and encourage lively classroom discussion. Concept check-points and challenging problems are included throughout to facilitate the learning process. Ordinary Differential Equations combines theory and applications, making this a useful text for both Mathematics and Engineering majors.
