Overview

Laura lives in Michigan with her husband and has homeschooled her children for over twenty-eight years. Her family has enjoyed many river activities such as fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and cleaning up the river. Estelle Corke is a freelance children's book illustrator from the U.K. who has contributed to publications worldwide. She loves creating gentle and affectionate scenes that are also fun. Her two preferred illustration styles are watercolor and gouache. The watercolor allows her to create delicate, interesting textures and the gouache brings in a bright and cheerful color pallet. In addition to illustrating books, Estelle teaches adult watercolor classes in Frome, Somerset.
