OverviewYou know you really made someone raging mad--when they try to kill you with a nuke. Michael and those who follow him had reached a temporary safe base, but now those in power know his identity. His people are in a race against time, and it's no longer a question of if they are going to be discovered--but when. Opposing them are modern-day pirates, slavers, genocidal terrorists, drug cartels, and those who rule the Earth from the shadows. And every single one of them wants to see Michael dead. When betrayal causes the death of someone close to him, he decides that diplomacy is far overrated. And sometimes crossing the line isn't enough; sometimes you need to demolish it to do what is right. So, set the Geneva Conventions on fire and punish the guilty, because sometimes, mercy is a luxury you cannot afford. If pain and death are the only things his enemies know, then he will speak their language fluently. Can they finish and launch the spaceship into orbit before time runs out? And what did the ancient aliens hide underneath the Pacific Ocean? Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationIgor Nikolic is a science fiction and urban fantasy author. Like many similar creatures of his kind, he can often be spotted sitting at his desk and frantically typing away at his keyboard, with a slightly disturbed expression on his face. Or on some occasions banging his head against his desk, in the hope that this questionable method would make his brain divulge the way out of the latest corner he wrote himself into. His friends are often concerned when he starts talking about gravity drives, Lagrange points, and all the possible problems that may occur when building a ginormous space habitat in space, but they know he is a bit . . . odd? So, they make allowance for his idiosyncrasies. They patiently listen to his sermons on interdimensional portals, the pitfalls of fully sentient Artificial Intelligence, and why the Fermi paradox can easily be explained by a simple reason that nobody really wants to talk to us. (Yeah, he has a quirky sense of humor, and loves Easter eggs. Who knows how many of them he had placed in his books?) In his spare time (and I don't see how he finds any), he may be rereading some of his favorite books (for the tenth freaking time) or trying to sort out his extensive movie collection, which is taking far more terabytes than what could be considered reasonable. (For the love of God, someone please tell him about Netflix or Amazon Prime Video). James Patrick Cronin is a classically trained stage actor with an MFA from the University of Louisville and a degree in philosophy from East Tennessee State University. He has performed everything from the classics to original material to comedy sketches in Ireland, Scotland, Serbia, Israel, and throughout the United States. An Earphones Award recipient, he has also recorded over one hundred audiobooks across an extensive range of genres, including science fiction, fantasy, young adult, and nonfiction.
