Overview

This is an UPGRADE exam with broad but shallow coverage. We walk you through the general config and admin tasks with 12c, then talk about the new features, in particular the CDB and PDBs. To be able to succeed in the real exam, you'll need to apply your earned knowledge to the question scenarios. This ExamFOCUS book focuses on the more difficult topics that will likely make a difference in exam results. Throughout this book we run Oracle 12c (64 bit only) on Windows Server 2012 for demonstration. The evaluation version of 12c can be downloaded free of charge if you join OTN (it is also free). Your server needs to have sufficient RAM and drive space to accommodate Oracle.
