In 1974 he joined the system analysis group of the Technical Directorate of Selenia S.p.A., where he is now Senior Engineer in the Radar Department. Since 1979, he has also been Professore Incaricato of radar techniques at the University of Naples, and in 1985 he was appointed Associate Professor at the same university. He is also a consultant for the Ministry of Industry. Recently, Dr. Farina was appointed a member of the Radar Systems Panel of the IEEE. His main work interests are in signal and radar data processing techniques. He is the author of more than 60 technical papers, and of a two-volume book, Radar Data Processing, published by Research Studies Press Ltd., England. He has been session chairman at the International Radar Conference in Bangalore, India, 1983, Paris in 1984, Washington, D.C., in 1985, Nanjing, 1986, and London, 1987. He received the 1986 Radar System Panel Award for his work in radar data analysis and tracking at Selenia. Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
