Reviews

Its simple direct language would of itself put the work in a class of its own among textbooks in this field and, moreover, clear exposition provides, as one would expect, evidence of clear thinking here as elsewhere so that it would be difficult to better the author's economy of words in making his points throughout the book... Altogether a most satisfying work for both teacher and student, not forgetting the practitioner who will appreciate the elegance of this well-rounded picture of his professional field. --F. de P. Hanika, Operational Research Quarterly (Review is on Volumes 1 and 2)
