Jonuel Brigue is a pen name of José Manuel Briceño Guerrero, a Venezuelan philosopher and philologist (1929-2014), graduated in Vienna, Professor at the Universidad de Los Andes, Mérida, Venezuela. Translated into English, French, and German, awarded several national and international prizes during his life. Author of more than thirty works including essays, fiction, poetry, translation.
