R. Panneerselvam (Ph.D.) is Professor (retd.), Department of Management Studies, School of Management, Pondicherry University. He served as the Dean of the School of Management and the Head of Management Studies for three terms at Pondicherry University. He has about 42 years of experience in teaching both engineering and management students at Anna University and Pondicherry University. His areas of research include operations research models and techniques for industrial problems, group technology, production scheduling, JIT manufacturing, assembly line balancing and investment decisions.
