Thomas Donnelly is an AEI resident fellow in national security and defense studies and the author of several books, including Clash of Chariots: The Great Tank Battles (Berkley Publishing Group, 1996) coauthored with Sean Naylor. He was formerly the policy group director and professional staff member for the Committee on National Security (now the Committee on Armed Services) in the U.S. House of Representatives.
