Open Your Mouth and Speak Life is a compelling true story of a dear friend who had the tenacity to rise above a life of abuse and trauma. She faced incredible challenges that would have crippled others for life...but she refused to allow them to stop her. This is a candid testimony of one woman's journey from Hell to Wholeness. The book is full of HOPE for anyone who has struggled with abuse in their family, community, or church. It teaches us that God not only sees what is being done or what has been done to us, but He also pursues us as we try to figure out how to do life without Him because we are so upset with the things that have happened to us. Open Your Mouth and Speak Life clearly shows us how much God cares about our brokenness and how He longs to work hand in hand with us to put the broken pieces of our lives back together again. God doesn't pick and choose whom He wants to help. Denise teaches us that His hand is out for all who are willing to take it. He desires for all of us to be healed and whole. The question is: Will you allow Speak Life to be a catalyst that God can use in the midst of your own healing process? Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to read this book. It truly blessed me. P. Suzanna Warren, Alive at Last Ministries, Executive Director, Battle Creek, Michigan I am constantly amazed by the courage and fortitude of so many women I've encountered who have experienced unfathomable and often unspeakable circumstances in life. In my line of work, it is all too often an occurrence that I'm witnessing. Still, I am never left hopeless and discouraged because so many of these women find the strength to rise from the ashes of their lives and ultimately shine bright. Author Denise Griffin is such a one; despite the unsurmountable challenges and injustices committed against her, she has prevailed and become a beacon of light, life, hope, and encouragement to us all. Denise's debut book is not only a testament of a conqueror but an inspiring motivation for anyone who has been held captive by the bondages of fearful silence, to open up their mouths and speak life! Dr. Kisia L. Coleman, M.O.D.E.L. (Mentoring Our Daughters, Equipping Ladies) Ministries, Founder, Kingdom Church Int'l., Co-Founder, Chicago, IL Denise Griffin provides an electrifying message that will spark each viewer with answers, understanding, and the power to activate his or her faith. Denise epitomizes her transparency of courage and strength to break the bondage of silence and Speak Life. If you are struggling with fear, past abuse, church hurt, shame, and the questions of why? I highly recommend this book for healing, restoration, and freedom. Pastor Tina Lee, New Harvest Christian Center, Battle Creek, Michigan
