Author Information

The Author: David A. B. Murray is Assistant Professor of Anthropology at York University, Toronto. He received his Ph.D. in anthropology from the University of Virginia. Dr. Murray has published articles in numerous journals including American Anthropologist, Cultural Anthropology, American Ethnologist, and Sexualities. He has also co-edited special issues of the journals Identities and The Australian Journal of Anthropology, and he was the co-editor of the journal Social Analysis from 1997 to 2001.
