ONTARIO SCHOLARSHIPS, now in its 2018 Edition, provides thousands of scholarships, awards and other forms of financial assistance for high school students who will be attending first year of a university or community college in Ontario. The first chapter in this book explains OSAP (the Ontario Student Assistance Program) in easy-to-understand language. The second chapter provides an overview of private and public awards that are available to students regardless of which university or college they will be attending. The third chapter outlines entrance scholarships and awards that are available at each university in Ontario. The fourth chapter outlines entrance scholarships and awards that are available at each community college in Ontario. The final chapter provides tips on applying for scholarships as well as tips on funding your post-secondary education. Throughout the book scholarship contact information is provided including scholarship values, the criteria for applying, the application process, due dates, related websites, email addresses, telephone numbers and other related addresses. ONTARIO SCHOLARSHIPS is written by Brian Harris, B.A., M.Ed., who has worked as the Head of Guidance at several Ontario high schools as well as teaching part-time at both the University of Toronto and Queen's University.
