Professor Amy J. Schmitz of Columbia, MO joined the University of Missouri School of Law faculty as the Elwood L. Thomas Missouri Endowed Professor of Law in 2016. She also serves on the Association of American Law Schools Executive Committee on Commercial and Related Consumer Law, and has been an Amici in several United Supreme Court cases involving arbitration. Colin Rule of San Jose, CA is Vice-President of Online Dispute Resolution at Tyler Technologies and in 2011 co-founded modria.com, an online dispute resolution service provider in Silicon Valley. He has worked in the dispute resolution field for more than 25 years as a mediator, trainer, and consultant.
