Becky Savage is the mother of Nick and Jack and the co-founder of the 525 Foundation. She is a prevention specialist and has been a registered nurse for over 30 years. She is a sought-after national speaker who educates teens, parents, first responders, and school officials on the dangers of prescription drug misuse. Becky is passionate about primary prevention through outreach, education, and support. She has a BS in nursing from Ball State University and an MS in nursing education from Bethel University. He was a first-year student at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, where he was majoring in chemistry and microbiology. During Nick's tenure on the hockey team at Penn High School in Mishawaka, Indiana, he led his teammates to the state runner-up title. Coaches and teammates say he led by example, both on and off the ice. Nick loved playing ice hockey, riding dirt bikes, and listening to music. Nick especially enjoyed the family lake house on Donnell Lake in southwest Michigan, where he liked to be out on the pontoon boat, or around the bonfire, with friends.
