Overview

When Christians think of Jesus, the first word that comes to mind is God. And that is appropriate because He is God incarnate. But this can create a problem. Our theology teaches us that He is both fully God and fully man. When we associate Jesus so closely with His divinity, we can make Him so much God that we hardly see His humanity at all. As He goes through life, we perceive that He has almost no struggles. How hard is it for God to heal, overcome temptations, or even raise the dead? When we see Jesus in this way, we may not view Him as really understanding the struggles we face in life. This book shows us how the fully human Jesus is like us in so many more ways than we ever thought. This recognition will draw us to love Jesus more deeply and worship Him with an even greater appreciation for all He has done for us.
