One of a Kind Kid: A Journey with ADHD

Overview

Being a kid with ADHD can be hard. There are so many things in the world to explore! How can anyone sit still for even a minute? The one-of-a-kind kid has trouble with this, but all his energy makes life so much more interesting. He is great at sports and making friends, and he loves helping others. Some people don't understand why he acts the way he does, but he knows that he's loved and he's trying his best. Author Nancy Anderson based One of a Kind Kid on her own experiences raising a child with ADHD, giving the story a moving authenticity.
