I even thought it might be glamorous as the barn owner of a large horse boarding facility. WHAT WAS I THINKING!! I really didn't know at the time that there would be days that I would be covered in mud, completely exhausted, and even feeling very lonely in my own barn. Looking back, I realize now that I was not ready for it mentally. I was now a businesswoman trying to learn how to run a barn and business, and I was a wife, mom, and friend trying to find a balance in all of it. My life became crazy overnight. I lost my confidence and I lost myself in all of it.
