Author Information

James V. McTevia's business career began when he came ashore from life as a teenaged sailor on Great Lakes cargo carriers. After taking a job at the very bottom rung of the credit industry, he quickly worked his way upward and found himself still in his 20s speaking at seminars for lawyers and accountants. In his 30s, as a pioneer in the profession that became known as turnaround management, he established the McTevia & Associates consulting firm. His national reputation for consulting work with troubled companies continues today, and after half a century he still maintains a busy practice.
