Marcia Holm is a storyteller and nature lover. Her début children's book, Once Upon a Tree, There Was a Change, draws inspiration from the shifting seasons and the parallel experience of raising four daughters-watching them grow, face challenges, ask questions, and embark on new adventures. Marcia enjoys spending time in nature, being with her children and grandchildren, attending church, and indulging in her love of knitting, crocheting, sewing, and reading. Raised on a family farm in southeast Saskatchewan, she now lives in Red Deer, Alberta, with her husband of forty-two years and their soft-coated Wheaten terrier, Shamie.
