Author Information

J.M. Skogen grew up on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State, and spent most summers riding horses, and exploring the rich forests, and rocky coastline of the Pacific Northwest. After attending Whitman College, and then the University of San Fransico's MFA program in poetry, Skogen moved back to Seattle. Skogen credits Seattle's rainy falls for the ability to stay inside and focus on writing, and participates in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) every November.
