Author Information

Val Z. Hornburg has taught for the past 25 years in both public and private elementary schools. She has her M.A.T. degree with a reading endorsement from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon. Val has won the nationally prestigious Miriam Joseph Farrell Award for Outstanding Teaching. Val lives with her husband, Bill Zuelke, and her daughter Noelle, in Portland, Oregon.
