Author Information

Stephen M. Maurer is Adjunct Professor of Public Policy at the University of California, Berkeley. A long-time friend and colleague of the late Professor Scotchmer, he co-authored eight articles and book chapters with her from 1999–2014. Trained as a lawyer, Maurer specializes in innovation, antitrust, and science policy. He is the editor and co-author of the book WMD Terrorism: Science and Policy Choices (2007).
