Overview

Rodney Badgermann might be the typical American man. He is in his 50s, holds down a steady job, and lives an unremarkable life with his wife of 30 years, Barbara, and a Doberman Pinscher named Max. One late spring day, Rodney's life begins to change. His cousin shows up with news of a possible inheritance. They travel in an RV from Michigan to Texas to learn more about the inheritance. Along the way, they encounter some quirky characters. Once the inheritance is resolved, they are ready to return home when Rodney meets a woman who completely captivates him. Almost on the spur-of-the-moment, Rodney, the woman, and his cousin embark on a side trip that will take them across the Southwest to Las Vegas. Along the way and with several Walter Mitty-like interludes, Rodney's once unremarkable life undergoes a series of transformations. And the person he becomes is almost totally different from the previous version. Or is it?
