On The Other Side (2021) is the (triumphant) journey of a brown girl and psychiatric health care professional searching for hope following her own psychiatric stay. Sandi Trevino Rae spent her life feeling less than and different from all her blond hair, blue- eyed friends that seemed to have a perfect life. Unaccepting of the stigma behind mental illness, she eventually found help, hope, and found herself again On The Other Side.
