Kerry J. Donovan was born in Dublin. A citizen of the world, he now lives with his partner, Margaret, in Newark on Trent, Nottinghamshire. He has three children and four grandchildren. When he's not creating more mayhem for Ryan Kaine and DCI David Jones to clean up, he's riding the countryside on his motorbike, keeping fit by running and swimming, and doing little bits of DIY. With acting credits that span stage and screen, Gildart Jackson is most often recognized for his role as Gideon on Charmed. Other notable TV roles include Jackson Palmer on Providence and Simon Prentiss on General Hospital, as well as guest appearances on Stargate: Atlantis, Las Vegas, and CSI.
