His Masters project was carried out under the supervision of Prof. Micheal Hill, where his interest in the development of earth-abundant element complexes as catalyts was born. During his PhD studies with Prof. Cameron Jones at Monash University, Australia, Terrance briefly worked with Prof. Simon Aldridge, University of Oxford, as a visiting student. After completing his PhD in August 2015, he moved to work with Prof. Matthias Driess, TU Belin, as a postdoctoral Fellow of the UniCat Cluster of Excellence.
