On Measuring Global Food Crisis: A Multivariate Modelling Approach, should be as follows: The present book introduces, constructs, develops and validates a new robust multivariate measurement system called Kanji-Chopra Global Food Crisis Measurement System to conceptualise, analyse and measure the magnitude and severity of global food crisis by identifying and quantifying the underlying complex driving forces within certain boundaries of global agricultural and food system. Its systems dimensional structure reveals how the critical food crisis factors are contributing to food problems such as food insecurity, hunger, dietary malnutrition, obesity, and food vulnerability. Considering its coverage and depth, this is a crucial book for food policy-oriented economists, theorists, researchers, teachers, and informed students. Dr Parvesh K. Chopra is Director of International Centre for Development and Performance Management at Sir John Hicks College of Economics and Management, Leeds, England. He received his education in India and England, taught Economics at various levels and published singly or jointly 40 research papers and 18 books. Dr Chopra is the winner of Economia Internazionale Prize with Emeritus Professor Gopal Kanji for their paper On measuring country risk published and selected by the Jury of the Prize as the best scientific paper published in Economia Internazionale/International Economics (Italy) during the year 2010. He is at present working on a book, Essential Emotional Intelligence: Pathways to Success in Work and Life.
