Jean Leaman is a lifelong lover of nature in both her native Great Britain and in the United States. She was first introduced to backpacking and trail hiking by her husband Jim Leaman more than 40 years ago. Jean and Jim's mutual passion for adventure and thirst for knowledge has taken them thousands of miles on foot. Adapted from travel journals and field notes, this is their first book in the ON FOOT series.
