From being elected joint secretary of the BCCI in 2003 after serving on different committees of the Board since the late 1990s, to being appointed the Board's first chief administrative officer in 2006 and later as its general manager (Administration and Game Development), Prof. Ratnakar Shetty served Indian cricket in multiple capacities for over two decades.
