She was previously Head of Information/Reference and Woman's Studies Bibliographer, Michigan State University Libraries. While at MSU she developed and taught ""Bibliographic Methods for Women's Studies Research"" and was honored as the Libraries' first Distinguished Librarian of the Year. Sarah Barbara Watstein is Assistant Director for Academic Services and Head, James Branch Cabell Library, Virginia Commonwealth University. She previously worked at New York University and Hunter College, CUNY.
