Omega Maxims

Overview

Originally dating from 1996 and extensively revised in 2020, 'Omega Maxims' is a further instalment of the aphoristic purism to which John O'Loughlin had last committed his pen with 'Maximum Occasions' (1994-5), and constitutes, with well over 1000 maxims, what we regard as one of the best, most elaborate works of its kind by him, with subjects ranging, as usual, right across his Element-conditioned spectra in the fourfold documentation of sensual and sensible antitheses.- A Centretruths editorial

Author Information

John O'Loughlin is a Galway-born author who, like W.B. Yeats, was brought from Ireland to England as a young boy and grew up, unlike Yeats, in Hampshire and Surrey, where he attended a variety of state schools. Most of his adult life has been spent in north London, to which he moved from Surrey in 1974, and all but a few of his books have been written there, the majority of which, like this one, are of an intensely philosophical nature.
