Oliver and his big bowl of feelings.

Overview

Meet Oliver, an 8-year-old boy who lives on a Caribbean island. He loves to play with his friends and enjoys going to school. His life is what you would expect for a boy his age, not a care in the world, revolving around his family, friends, his dog, and doing well in school. That all changes when a pandemic reaches his island, and he feels all sorts of emotions. At some point, he doesn't even know what he feels. He musters up the courage to talk to his parents, which comforts him and makes him feel safe. Yet sometimes it is difficult to express how you feel with words, even to your parents. Oliver learns that being creative is a fun way to express your emotions. And that everyone feels different emotions at the same event. Even though this story is based around a pandemic, emotions are the same in every challenging experience.
