He has recently finished two books, titled Body and Event in Howard Barker’s Theatre of Catastrophe (2019) and Evental Ontology, Immanent Ethics and Affective Aesthetics in Howard Barker’s Drama (under review). He completed his PhD at Warwick University (2015; funded by WU). Fakhrkonandeh holds degrees in English Literature and Literary Theory (PhD), Continental Philosophy (MA), and Medical Humanities (PhD). His works have featured in various journals and books, including Symploke, Textual Practice, Comparative Drama, English Studies, JCDE, ANQ, The Edinburgh History of Reading (2020), and The Somaesthetics of City Life (2019).
