After culinary school she purchased her first restaurant JJ's Bistro in the beautiful city of Inglewood, California. Since then she has worked for and volunteered at City of Refuge, where she has helped by providing so many resources to the community. She was one of the first women to partner with physicians and health care organizations and include them to the church. Her love of nutrition has helped and informed people of the importance of what we put into our body.
