Fusion Readers are a brand new addition to the Maverick Reading Scheme. They combine traditional text on one page and comic book panels on the other to seamlessly combine these two mediums together. Fusion Readers are perfect for both able and struggling readers on their first steps into chapter books. Evil genius Dr Dare has been told he needs a pal. Humans are boring so he goes to a dog shelter, and finds Og: a dog with a lot of love but not many limbs. Luckily, Dr Dare has gadgets at his disposal and soon Og is loving life with his new bionic legs and eye. But how will Dare adjust to life as a supervillain with a superpowered dog?
