A Wild Ride. I've just finished OFFSPRING and it was a wild ride to say the least. Full disclosure, I started this book intending to read the first few chapters and then leave it to get some things accomplished on my to-do list. This book had other things in mind for me. I couldn't stop reading until I was over half done and HAD to do things like shower and go to the grocery store for food. I got back to it later and gobbled up the rest of it. Clearly, the pacing pulls the reader along at a riotous pace. The plot is fascinating, the characters believable, the suspense palpable and the author managed to sprinkle in humor to make this a satisfying, well-rounded story. 5 Stars! - Ginger, Georgetown, TX I'm pretty sure Mara Layil is my new best friend!
