Overview

This story is inspired by my brother, Officer Danny Boyle. Danny was a young Philadelphia Police Officer who showed great courage and kindness, but his life was cut short while serving his community. To honor him, our family created the Officer Daniel Boyle Memorial Scholarship Fund. With love and generosity, this fund has helped thousands of children in Philadelphia receive an education-turning our pain into purpose and sadness into service for others. This book is more than a story-it is a bridge. The characters you'll meet-Quinn, Patrick, Harper, and our puppy, Honey-are my own children and our beloved pet. My brother Danny left this world too soon. By writing him into these pages alongside his nieces and nephew, I give them a way to meet their Uncle Danny, to laugh with him, to walk beside him. Though they never got to hold his hand in this life, they can hold onto his heart. In this story, his spirit is alive, and his love continues to grow.
