Overview

The leitmotif of this publication is named with the question of the relationship between revelation and language, the linguistic revelation of a God who remains a mystery. The contributions examine the relationship from different theological, religious studies and hermeneutic perspectives. In the horizon of the dialogue between Christianity and Islam, the relationship between revelation and language has marked differences. In contrast, the investigations in this volume should lead to the center of an encounter that gives the language of the other an appreciative and appreciative space in order to open up an interreligious conversation in which differences can be re-illuminated and convergences can open up.
