Of Modernism brings together twelve original essays by leading scholars in modernist art history, offering new perspectives on key questions in European modernism. Grace Brockington is Senior Lecturer in History of Art at the University of Bristol. She is the author of Above the Battlefield: Modernism and the Peace Movement in Britain, 1900-191 (Yale University Press, 2010), an edited collection Internationalism and the Arts in Britain and Europeat the Fin de Siecle (Peter Lang, 2009), and several articles. She holds a Philip Leverhulme Prize and an AHRC Early Career Fellowship, and is currently working on a book and exhibition about the artist Vanessa Bell.
