Overview

Revivir un genero que pervive en la memoria colectiva y se expresa, a veces, arbitrariamente en la forma y tematica que la caracteriza, no es tarea facil. Recurrir a las primeras Odas y especificamente a las calaveras del siglo XIX, o principios de siglo XX con tintes politicos; observar y leer a los poetas contemporaneos y entender las corrientes literarias que la llevan a otros cauces, no es tarea facil. De esa manera, nos permitimos internarnos a sus aguas turbulentas llenas de pasion, mordacidad, ironia, pero sin llegar a la ofensa personal, sino al menos a la intencion de caracterizar a los personajes que aludo, en sus virtudes, buen humor, bonhomia, actitudes y personalidad que les distingue. Mi poemario es un intento por interpretar la personalidad de los poetas, amigos y familiares con ironia sutil, pero con respeto. INTRODUCTORY WORDS TO SKULLS Reviving a genre that lives on in the collective memory and expresses itself, sometimes arbitrarily in the form and subject matter that characterizes it, is not an easy task. Recourse to the first skulls of the 19th century, or early 20th century, with political overtones; observing and reading contemporary poets and understanding the literary currents that take it to other channels, is not an easy task. In this way, we allow ourselves to go into their turbulent waters full of passion, sharpness, irony, but without getting to the personal offense, but at least to the intention of characterizing the characters that I allude, in their virtues, good humor, kindness, attitudes and personality that distinguishes them. My poetry book is an attempt to interpret the personality of poets, friends and family members with subtle irony, but with respect.
