Overview

Oracle 10g is the latest update to Oracle's industry leading database product. The g stands for grid, which represents a new computing architecture that pools large numbers of servers into a flexible, on-demand computing resource for all enterprise computing needs. To ensure continued levels of support, Oracle has also updated its Oracle Certified Professional program, creating a new two-exam track. Passing the Administration I exam earns a candidate the Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) designation. From there candidates proceed to the Administration II exam to earn the Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) designation.
