Table of ContentsReviewsI was taken on a nostalgic journey around my island home, through the lanes, near the cliffs, in the town and the harbour. I was reminded of many stories told to me by my parents about that time and the things they were forced to endure, but Marilyn Chapman added to my knowledge with the events outlined in her story. Her portrayal of the characters is full and detailed - I find myself picturing them in my mind. This book really should be read by a wide selection of people with an interest in lesser know WWII history told as a love story.
