Reviews

In the present study, Dr. Karade has made a systematic attempt to establish an already acknowledged positive co-relation between education and occupational mobility. I am sure his present work would be well received by the researchers and readers in general as well. - Dr. B.L. Mungekar, Member, Planning Commission, Govt. of India. The work is completely ethnographic, which is invisible of Converted Buddhists. The present work is very important to all downtrodden people for their educational and occupational development. - Dr. R.K. Kale, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. The book has succeeded in understanding the social mobility of SCs by studying the occupational mobility through inter and intra-generational levels. - Dr. Richard Pais, St. Aloysius College, Mangalore.
