Overview

In this collection, Chevasco shares vivid impressions of life and travel in Asia, health and spiritual vulnerability, and a small collection of Haikus in Spanish. The Haikus are dedicated to his life in Gibraltar and Andalucía, and in particular to his grandparents. While the majority are written in English, there is a significant number of poems in Spanish, and the odd one in Italian or French. Although perhaps hard for readers to enjoy all of the poems, the collection stays true to Chevasco's multilingual approach to poetry. It ends with a final ode of farewell to his grandfather.
