He is considered one of the great poets of Latin America, but has only had portions of his work translated into English. Author Information

Oliverio Girondo was an Argentine poet and painter, known for his involvement in Ultraism and in vanguardism. His poetry collections include Veinte poemas para ser leidos en el tranvia, Calcomanias and EspantapajarosI. Hugh Hazelton is a writer and translator who specializes in the work of Latin American writers living in Canada. He has published four books of poetry and has translated eleven books from Spanish and French into English.
