Christian Zionism secures the domestic American political base for unconditional military engagement in the Middle East. Salafi-State Theology secures the internal stability of Gulf monarchies that anchor Western energy and security interests. Together, they form what Faraji calls the Obedience-Industrial Complex-a system in which finance, military power, and religious authority converge to manufacture consent for occupation, authoritarianism, and the silencing of justice. The book traces this architecture from the Scofield Reference Bible's reshaping of American evangelical politics to the Saudi export of Madkhali quietism across the Muslim world.
