Don't We All Need An Oasis? If only each one of us could find an Oasis (a place of calm, respite and recovery) within the core of our being, how much more pleasant and purposeful our lives would be! Helping you reach this home-within-your-heart is the purpose of this book! It's my journey... but I hope it maps out yours too. What a time of isolation, fear and conflict! How much can we believe or be certain of? Are there forces afoot instigating this danger and division? Who can we trust? Are there still some enduring things that can stabilize us in the whirlwind? I believe there are... but they're not easy to pin-point. Like you, I struggled with these questions, tormented by doubts and worries. I ran to an old ""comforting shelter"", something familiar and healing: Art, music, nature, reaching out to others, reflection, and even prayer. Here are poems that come out of this wacky time: some hearty with life-energy, some daring or downhearted, some that add a dollop of humor or satire.
