"" Jayasree Bhattacharyya was born in the holy city of Prayagraj on November 29, 1962 to Mr. Nanda Dulal Bhattacharyya and Mrs. Abha Bhattacharyya. Her schooling was from the prestigious St. Mary's Convent Inter College. She did her Graduation and PostGraduation from the Allahabad University. She joined Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan as PGT (English) in 1994 and superannuated in March 2023.Her poems have been published in ""KAVYA MANJARI"", a magazine published by K.V.S. She writes her poems in simple language, mainly in sonnet form having rhyme scheme as aabb. ""
