Overview

O Praise the Lord of Heaven, Op. 27 is a musical composition for solo voice, chorus, orchestra, and organ by Charles V. Stanford. This particular piece is based on Psalm 150 from The Book of Psalms, and contains lyrics based on its words. Sir Charles Villiers Stanford (1852 - 1924) was an Irish composer, conductor, and teacher of music. He was educated at the University of Cambridge and continued his studies in Berlin and Leipzig.
